The Cuisinart CPT-180 Metal Classic 4-Slice is a well made stainless steel toaster that is essentially two toasters in one giving you four slots to toast your food with control dials on both side so you can toast completely different foods on both sides of the toaster. The defroast option works especially great. When we tried it out with a solid frozen piece of bread it came out completely unfrozen and not cold at all. The toasting is excellent as well with both sides of bread toasting well but how damp or dry your toast become when it’s toasting depends on the type of bread it is. That’s why Cuisinart decided to include an Instruction book for toasting tips. Dryer breads need lesser toasting and fresher breads need a higher toasting time ect. When cleaning the toaster do not use abrasive cleansers. Simply wipe the exterior with a clean damp cloth and dry thoroughly
Complaints
Some of the major complaints against the Cuisinart CPT-180 Metal Classic 4-Slice include some slots no longer working and toasting right. The toaster also feels somewhat flimsy with the bottom of it being made of plastic. It also feels lighter than some customers wanted it to be and complained about the light 6.1 lbs weight. The stainless steel finish also doesn’t hold up as long as it should’ve compared to other toasters. It loses its shine quick and gets fingerprint stains on it easily.

The Cuisinart CPT-180 Metal Classic 4-Slice is one of Cuisinarts better toasters with it functioning as two toasters in one giving it a wide range of versatility such as being able to toast two different types of food on either side of the toaster.
